Wild Lights at the Elmwood Park Zoo

 

Celebrate the holiday season with the return of Wild Lights to the Elmwood Park Zoo!  They are flipping the switch on millions of lights throughout the Zoo.

Enjoy a stroll through Snowflake Central and Rainbow Runway, then admire the beautiful Wonder Way Christmas Tree exhibit.  Be sure to visit Santa's Workshop for pictures with the big guy!

Valley Forge Beer & Cider Festival

 

 

Over 150 beers and ciders for sampling!  Called “a not-to-be-missed event for fans of real beer” by Drink Philly, will be a fun-filled day for all.   A sell-out is expected, so get your tickets early. For the 9th year in a row, they are partnering with the local Committee To Benefit the Children (CBC) and supporting them in their efforts to improve the quality of life for children and families who face cancer, leukemia, and serious blood disorders.

Experience the Historic Houses decorated for the Holidays!  Come visit the charming colonial-era historic houses in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park. Holiday House Tours will feature experienced guides to share information about the furniture, architecture, and fascinating stories behind the house’s inhabitants.

 

Participating historic houses include Cedar Grove, Historic Strawberry Mansion, Laurel Hill Mansion, Lemon Hill Mansion, Mount Pleasant, and Woodford Mansion.
