Happy Summer! If you're looking for something fun, entertaining or educational to do over this summer weekend, you've come to the right place. We've created another list of some of our favorite local events this weekend so you won't miss a thing. Enjoy!​
Sundays, July 14th, 21st and 28th
Noon to 1 pm
Dana Hot Yoga, 832 Bethlehem Pike, Ambler
Please join them for their third annual Sweat to End Alzheimer's. This event, taking place on Sunday, July 14th, Sunday, July 21st, and Sunday, July 28th, all at noon, benefits the Philadelphia Walk to End Alzheimer's. Come on out to enjoy a sweaty hour of hot vinyasa flow yoga at Dana Hot Yoga. This event is cash only; a minimum donation of $10 is appreciated for the cause. (Dana members are asked to bring cash as well!) It's recommended that you bring a mat, towel, and water. (Each also can be rented or purchased at the studio for $1). See you on the mat!​

Downtown Car Show in Media

Sunday, July 14th, 11 am - 4 pm
Downtown Media
12th Annual Downtown Car Show, presented by the Delco Cruisers and Media Business Authority, will see over 250 antique cars lining the streets of Downtown Media on Sunday, July 14th from 11 am - 4 pm (rain date July 21). Blobfest in Phoenixville

July 12th - 14th
Colonial Theatre, 227 Bridge Street, Phoenixville
Cult film fans flock to the historic Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville for Blobfest, a three-day horror-movie extravaganza. Many scenes from the 1958 horror/science-fiction movie The Blob were filmed at the Colonial Theatre and in the town, and every year, locals celebrate their place in movie history with a weekend-long street party, several screenings of the film, and more.

Brandywine Polo Club, 232 Polo Rd, Kennett Square
Come out this Sunday, July 14th to their fun and exciting Horses and Honky Tonk Polo Event! The event includes a high action polo match featuring US Open Winner & polo professional Martin Estrada, Wacker Beer, Line Dancing, Family Games and country singer Warren Montgomery.
This is an all ages and pet-friendly event. Children under 12 years of age are FREE and dogs are welcome too but must be on a leash at all times. Please feel free to bring blankets, lawn chairs, games or personal items but NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGE is permitted on the grounds, but it will be available for purchase.

Blueberry Festival at Linvilla Orchards

Saturday, July 13th, 8 am - 7 pm (Raindate - Sunday, July 14th)
Linvilla Orchards, 137 W. Knowlton Road, Media
Linvilla Orchards' Annual Blueberry Festival takes place annually in early July while the local blueberry season is in full swing. You can pick your own healthy blueberries from acres of bushes. The blueberry pie eating contest is the highlight of the day!
Pick Your Own will be opening at 8:00 am.

Colebrookdale RR Campfire Express

Saturday, July 13th, 1 pm, and 3:30pm
Colebrookdale Railroad, corner of Washington & 3rd Streets, Boyertown
Create new memories with your family as you board Colebrookdale Railroad’s Campfire Express to their site “in the woods.” You’ll ride the train or doodlebug to the campfire site, roast some hot dogs, and join in some camp songs.
They supply: Hot dogs & buns, roasting sticks, bug juice (beverage – but no bugs), campfire to roast your dog, song sheets, and song leader.
You supply: The energy and kids to create the experience. This is a camping experience without the sleepover. They anticipate this experience to be a little over an hour in duration. This excursion is family-oriented with family-friendly pricing!
Please Note: The Colebrookdale Site DOES NOT have a ramp, they apologize, but for this expedition, they cannot accommodate wheelchairs.
Philadelphia Phillies vs. Washington Nationals at Citizens Bank Park
July 12th - 14th

The Philadelphia Phillies hope to get hot against the Washington Nationals in a three-game series at Citizens Bank Park this weekend. Fans can enjoy fireworks after the games on Friday and Saturday!
