Along Kelly Drive; races start at Hunting Park Avenue and end at the Columbia Avenue Bridge
 
The world's largest collegiate regatta takes place on the Schuylkill River and attracts more than 3,000 competitors from 125 colleges across the country and Canada. The races begin just north of where Kelly Drive intersects Hunting Park Avenue and ends 2,000 meters later at the Grand Stand — one of the best places to catch all the action — near the Columbia Avenue Bridge.

​Mother’s Day Tea Train

Colebrookdale Railroad, 100 South Chestnut Street, Boyertown
 
Tea in the finest English tradition for dear ol’ mum as they journey through the Secret Valley. It will be an experience not to be missed. The Edwardian splendor of our century-old coach is the perfect setting for a memorable Mother's Day weekend. Complimentary glass of champagne for all on the northbound trip & a flower for Mom!
 
Deluxe Coach Passengers may opt to purchase a beverage while enjoying the two hour excursion.
 
Full tea service will be in the Dining Car. Their Dining Car, in historic railroad tradition, has Tables of FOUR. Odd numbered parties may be seated with others to maximize seating.

Phoenixville Beer and Wine Festival


Saturday, May 11th - 12 noon to 4 pm
 
Kimberton Fairgrounds, 762 Pike Springs Road, Phoenixville
 
The Premier Beer & Wine Festival in Southeast Pennsylvania! The Phoenixville Beer & Wine Festival returns for the third year at the Kimberton Fairgrounds. The festival features more than 150 beers, wines, ciders, meads, and spirits available to sample. Live music entertains the crowd and local eateries and food trucks keep drinkers well fed. Drink samples are unlimited.

Morris Arboretum Plant Sale

Friday, May 10th (10 am - 7 pm) and Saturday, May 11th (10 am - 3 pm)

Bring Your Own Wagon (BYOW) to load-up all your must-have gardening supplies at Morris Arboretum's annual Plant Sale on Mother's Day weekend, Friday, May 10th, 10am-7pm (member's-only), and Saturday, May 11th, 10am-3pm (open to the public). If you have questions or need recommendations while selecting your plants, Arboretum horticulturists, wearing red aprons, will be on-site with expert advice. Bring a friend and meet other gardeners at the Plant Sale, held at Horticulture Center at Bloomfield Farm, across the street from the Arboretum's public garden.

All-Star Craft Beer, Wine and Cocktail Festival at Citizens Bank Park

Citizens Bank Park will again be the host for Philadelphia's largest and most talked about craft beer, wine, and cocktail festival ever. This year, they have more festival areas to sample, relax, and enjoy the best beverages around in a huge 100,000 Sq Ft Craft Outdoor Beer, Wine, and Cocktail area, complete with draft trucks, live entertainment, yard games, vendors and much more!
 
VIP Ticket Holders will have access to multiple private VIP areas (the amazing Hall of Fame Club & Citizens Bank Way) that include additional products to sample, seating & lounge areas, air conditioning, private restrooms, and an hour early admission to the event for first-shot at all this event has to offer.

Barn Season Opening Sale

Donations are now being accepted 7 days a week but, more importantly, plans for the Preview Party & Sale are under way. The first official Second Sale is May 11th, 8 am - 12 pm.
 
Want to get there before the crowds? Join them for a Preview Party & Sale on Friday, May 10th, 5 - 8:30 pm.
 
Tickets are on sale now! Come enjoy a full Southern Fried Chicken dinner including dessert and one beer, wine, or nonalcoholic beverage; music & bargains! $20 in advance, $25 at the door. $5 for kids.

The event includes a variety of activities sure to entertain Eagles fans, while also offering a fun-filled day for all ages. Hear from Eagles Head Coach Doug Pederson*, meet Eagles players and alumni, and run through football drills at Lincoln Financial Field. General admission tickets for this event are just $55 each.
